Welcome to Story Stroll!   June 1-30, featuring the book VAMOS! Let's Go Eat by Raul the Third.  Help kick off our Summer Reading Challenge by participating in this free self-guided tour for kids, families and caregivers. Simply follow the path on the map in order to see the story unfold in front of you. Each stop on the path features another portion of the story.  This month's story also features a bonus seek and find scavenger hunt!

Council Tree Storytime on a Blanket

Space is limited to 25 people and registration is required for each individual. This 20-30 minute outdoor storytime is designed for kids birth to 6 years old.  Bring your own blanket to sit on with the kids, dress for the weather, and bring your water bottles.  Social distancing and safety guidelines will be enforced including face masks for participants ages 11 and older.  

We are excited to be partnering with CSU's Environmental Learning Center (ELC) for this special storytime! The  physical location is 2400 S. County Road Nine, near Ziegler and Drake. 

Your registration confirmation will include directions to the ELC and about parking.

Read and a Walk Storytime

Poudre Libraries is excited to be partnering with Colorado State University's Environmental Learning Center (ELC) for this special storytime and optional walk. This 20-30 minute outdoor storytime is designed for kids birth to 6 years old together with an adult. Please check the events calendar for cancellation updates due to weather or other safety concerns. Bring a blanket and water bottle and be prepared to move, dance, and sing! 

  

You are invited to participate in the FREE guided walk with staff from CSU's Environmental Learning Center from 10:00 - 11:00. You will need to provide your name and contact information with CSU on site should you join them! 

  

If you would like to join the optional walk, please be prepared with weather appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, plenty of water and sunscreen. Bug spray is also highly recommended.

Monday Outdoor Series, Fale African Drum & Dance

Space is limited and registration is required for this all-ages program. Fale means "bridge" in the Susu language of Guinea. Since its inception in 2005, Fale has been dedicated to learning, teaching, performing, and promoting traditional African rhythm and dance throughout the Fort Collins area, connecting people from different cultures and life experiences. Our community is sustained by a deep respect for our teachers and studying, sharing, and celebrating together.  Please register child(ren) and caregivers separately.
