Balloon-Powered Cars: Virtual Makerspace

Looking for a fun learning activity for your elementary student? Explore a hands-on engineering activity on kinetic energy and laws of motion. January's project will feature a balloon-powered car; children will design and build a car at home using supplies provided by the library. Library staff will guide students through the building process via an online video. Registered participants will receive supply information and video link by email. Recommended for ages 5-8, activity time approximately 30 minutes.
