Find literary voice through regionalism in this workshop with Oscar
Hokeah. Learn how Hokeah developed a Kiowa-specific and
Cherokee-specific voice in Calling for a Blanket Dance, taking into
account cultural and community nuances and influences from regional
dialects. Then, discuss how you can incorporate Hokeah’s strategies into
your own writing.
