The Newbery Medal is like the Olympic gold medal of children's books, and in this interactive program kids in grades 3-5 will discover what it takes for a book to become a Newbery winner, vote on their choices for the winner in our very own Mock Newbery Election, and create a fun Newbery-inspired craft too!

This program will take place outdoors, please dress accordingly. In the event of inclement weather or poor air quality, the program will be canceled and registered attendees will be notified.
