The Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra presents an exciting series of Masterworks concerts for the 2019-2020 season, "Platinum Season 70". The repertoire is filled with exquisite works from time-honored composers, including a 250th anniversary tribute to Ludwig van Beethoven. As well, sparkling works of 20th century composers are highlighted throughout.
Partnering with the Symphony Association, the Friends of the Symphony is pleased to provide enlightening lectures from noon to 1:00 pm on the Wednesday before each Masterworks concert given by CSU musicologist Dawn Grapes. Learn intimate aspects of the composers' lives, their times and works. Don't miss these wonderfully informative talks. Questions and comments are welcomed.
You are invited! There is no charge, and no reservation is required. Light refreshments will be served, and brown bag lunches are welcome. Attendees will have a chance to win the drawing for Symphony concert tickets. Mark your calendars and plan to attend. You will be glad that you did!
